  • 1 Raw Mango

  • 1/2 tsp Crushed or Powdered Jeera

  • 1 Green Chilli

  • 4 tbsp Sugar

  • 1/2 tsp Black Salt

  • 8 - 10 Mint Leaves

  • Red Chilli powder and salt for Garnish

Step by Step

  1. Peel and proceed to steam the raw mango with some salt for about 10 mins. Let it cool down. (Don't throw the mango stock, refrigerate it for further use)

  2. Proceed to add mango pieces in a mixer jar and then add powdered jeera, green chilli, sugar, black salt, mint leaves and grind it to a smooth paste.

  3. Take two glasses and wet the rim with some lime and dip the rim of the glass in some salt and red chilli powder and freeze it for 15 - 20 mins

  4. Once the glasses are chilled add the mango pulp, pour the excess stock which was used to boil the mango some ice cubes and stir it well.

  5. Your cooling Aam Panna is summer ready.
