Serves: 10 - 12 Ladoos


  • 2 cups Gram Flour

  • 1 tbsp Semolina (Rava)

  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder

  • 3/4 cup Ghee

  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar

  • Nuts for Ladoo and for Dressing

Step by Step

  1. Add the ghee in a microwave safe vessel and proceed to melt it for duration of 1 min.

  2. Once the ghee is melted proceed to add the gram flour and rava(semolina) and microwave it for a duration of 3 mins. Take the bowl out and stir the mixture well.

  3. Now we'll proceed to put the mixture in the microwave for a duration of 2 mins thrice and each time make sure to stir it well before adding it back in the microwave.

  4. After the third round stir it well and proceed to add the nuts and the cardamom powder and give it a quick stir. Let the mixture cool down completely.

  5. Once the mixture is cooled proceed to add the powdered sugar and stir it first with a spoon and then knead it with your hands to form a dough.(The powdered sugar doesn't only add to the sweetness but also binds the ladoo mixtures together to form a ladoo.

  6. Shape it into round balls and garnish with some nuts.

Note: The ladoos will harden automatically after 2 - 3 hours so ensure to mould the ladoos soon after you add the powdered sugar.
