Chicken Mince Potato Chops

  1. 250 gms Chicken Mince (Kheema)

  2. 1/2 Capsicum finely chopped

  3. 1 medium Onion finely chopped

  4. 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste

  5. 1 tsp Turmeric powder

  6. 1 tsp Jeerem Mereem/Garam Masala powder

  7. 1 tsp Chilly Powder

  8. Salt as per taste

  9. 4 Cloves, 6 Peppercorns, 1 inch Cinnamon stick, 1 Start Anise, 3 Green Cardamon

  10. 1 tsp Vinegar

For Potato covering

  1. 2 big Potatoes

  2. Salt as per taste

  3. Pepper Powder as desired

For Coating

  1. 2 beaten Eggs (Add Salt)

  2. Bread crumbs & Rawa(Semolina) Mixture


  1. Take a pan and heat it, add some oil and the cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, peppercorns, star anise and fry for few seconds.

  2. Add chopped onions and fry until light golden brown

  3. Add ginger garlic paste and fry until the raw smell goes away.

  4. Add capsicum,chilly powder, jeerem mereem/garam masala powder and fry for few seconds.

  5. Add Chicken mince(Kheema), salt and little water mix it well, cover it with a lid and let it cook fir 5 - 6 minutes.

  6. Stir occasionally

  7. Add coriander and further cook for 2 minutes until the mince is dry.

  8. Take the pan off heat.

  9. Mash the potatoes with salt and pepper powder until smooth

  10. Beat 2 eggs with salt

  11. Grease both your hands with oil and take a ball of potato, flatten it on your palm, put the chicken mince(kheema) filling and try to mold it by rotating and simultaneously putting pressure on top to form in a patty shape.

  12. Mold the chops and keep it in the plate

  13. Then proceed to coat the chops, first in egg wash and then in the mixture of bread crumb and rawa(semolina)

  14. Heat oil in a shallow pan(avoid deep frying), Once it's heated add the cops and fry them with the lid covered

  15. Turn sides once it turns golden brown

  16. Serve the potato chops with ketchup. Enjoy!
