Easy East Indian Chicken Moile

  1. 500 gms of Chicken

  2. 2 medium potatoes sliced

  3. 2 big onions or 3 medium sliced finely

  4. 8 Garlic cloves sliced finely

  5. 1 inch Ginger sliced finely

  6. 4 Green Chillies slit

  7. 1/2 tsp Garam Masala

  8. 2 tsp East Indian Bottle Masala

  9. 2 tbsp Cooking Oil for frying masalas

  10. Cooking oil for Shallow frying of Chicken and Potatoes

  11. 1 tsp Vinegar

  12. Salt as per taste

  13. 1 tsp Turmeric

Step by Step

  1. Wash and clean the Chicken pieces well

  2. Marinate the chicken with turmeric and salt and keep aside for 1 hour

  3. Heat the oil in a pan and shallow fry potatoes and chicken pieces until golden brown

  4. Heat another pan and add oil, onions, chopped ginger, garlic and saute on medium flame until the onions turn translucent and the raw smell of ginger garlic goes away.

  5. Add slit chilies ans saute for 1 min

  6. Add the bottle masala and mix well

  7. Now add the fried chicken and saute until all the masala coats the chicken

  8. Add 2 cups of water and cover it with a lid, give the curry a nice boil

  9. Add garam masala, salt as per taste, vinegar and fried potatoes and simmer it for 5 mins minutes.

  10. Let it cook until done

  11. Remove off heat and serve with Rice or Hand made bread
