Gulkand Watermelon Milkshake | Rose Milkshake

To make Gulkand

  • 1/2 cup Sugar

  • 1/2 cup Water

  • 4 tbsp Rose Petals (Fresh/Dry)

  • 2 tsp Rose Water

  • 1 tsp Food Color (Red)

  • Additional 2 tbsp Sugar

To Make the Milkshake

  • 2 cups Watermelon diced and seedless

  • 2 cup milk + Additional 1/2 cup for Grinding

  • 3 tbsp Gulkand

Step by Step

  1. To prepare Gulkand, first heat a pan and then add sugar and water and stir it really well and add 2 tbsp Rose petals and again give it a stir.

  2. Now add Rose water, stir it well and further add remaining 2 tbsp Rose Petals to the pan and give it a stir, now add the food color and stir.

  3. Keep stirring and once you find the mixture thickening, add 2 tbsp Sugar and remove it off heat keep stirring it really well and leave it aside to cool off.

  4. Add the 1 cup watermelon in a mixer jar, then add 1 & 1/2 tbsp Gulkand and add 1/4 cup of milk and now grind it really well.

  5. Pour the strawberry gulkand mixture in a glass to half a proportion and add rest of the milk to the glass, stir it well and your Strawberry Gulkand Milkshake is ready.

  6. Serve it chilled.
