Quick & Easy Green Prawns Cutlets

  1. Prawns 200 gms

  2. 6 Green Chillies

  3. 6 Garlic Cloves

  4. Handful of Coriander

  5. 1 inch Ginger

  6. 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds

  7. 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder

  8. Oil for frying

  9. 1 Egg for coating

  10. 1 tbsp bread crumbs


  1. Add Green chillies, garlic, ginger, coriander, cumin seeds and turmeric to a grinder jar.

  2. Grind it with very less water

  3. Remove the paste in a bowl.

  4. In the same jar add prawns and grind it for a second or two rounds (needs to be coarse and not fully ground)

  5. Mix the green masala, prawns, bread crumbs, egg and salt in the bowl.

  6. Heat the oil in a pan.

  7. Use a tablespoon to scoop the prawns mixture one by one and add it to the pan.

  8. Cover with a lid and let it fry for a minute or two and turn the sides. Let it cook for 6 to 7 minutes with the lit covered.

  9. Remove off pan and serve with some dal rice or pulao.
